Fixed Term Tenancy Agreement Notice
You may have to pay the rent according to your fixed term if you: If a lessor has breached an essential provision of the rental agreement, the tenant may terminate the rental agreement without full months` notice. When and how much termination you give depends on the type of rental you have and what your lease says. If a landlord gives the tenant the termination of the lease and the tenant wishes to move earlier, the tenant must nevertheless inform the landlord 21 days in writing. The tenant can then use this form as proof to end their lease without penalty. Lease agreements are written to protect both landlords and tenants and to clarify the roles and responsibilities of the persons mentioned in the contract with respect to the property. The rental data in a contract is all important – it ensures that the tenant knows exactly how long he can make this property his home, and that the owner knows that his property is rented for a certain time, in return for the rent paid. When notifying a termination, it is important that the appropriate procedures are followed. For more information, see Notifying tenants. The effective date of termination must not be before the end of the fixed term. This helps limit the potential negative effects of ending domestic violence on survivors trying to secure alternative rental housing. . .
